It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Plainfield can now relate to. They fell 9-4 to the Randolph Rams on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

South Plainfield's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Randolph, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

South Plainfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randolph, they will take on Steinert on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 2.8, the Spartans 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
