Volleyball Recap: East Bladen Comes Up Short

East Bladen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Clinton Dark Horses. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dark Horses this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-14.

Clinton was led to victory by Cameron Marshburn and Jenna Jackson. Marshburn had 14 digs, while Jackson had three digs and three aces. Jackson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

East Bladen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

East Bladen has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against West Bladen on the 27th. As for Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mintz Christian Academy on the 28th.
