Ben Lomond saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Becraft, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Justin Church also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, North Summit came up short against Millard on Monday, falling 12-6. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kason Richins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Ben Lomond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Summit, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Ben Lomond came out on top in a nail-biter against North Summit when the teams last played back in March of 2023, sneaking past 7-6. Will Ben Lomond repeat their success, or does North Summit have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
