While Paradise Valley's victory against Poston Butte wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Broncos 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Poston Butte lost on Saturday, don't look at Milana Thiel. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and one assist. Gabi Lopez also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Paradise Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Poston Butte, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
