Volleyball Recap: South Davidson Wildcats vs. College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals
South Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-15, 25-17.
South Davidson's offense was headlined by Payton Cook and Marly Chase, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Rose Sommer and her seven assists. Chase was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
South Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for College Prep & Leadership Academy, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13.
