Ronnie Stanley, an offensive lineman from Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), committed to Notre Dame this afternoon, in an announcement made at his high school.

Stanley chose the Irish over Arkansas and Nebraska.

He visited Notre Dame over the weekend, seemingly solidifying his decision.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Stanley played a key role in the success of Bishop Gorman this season, helping the Gaels to a 15-1 record and a Class 4A state title.

Stanley is the No. 15-ranked offensive tackle and the No. 117 recruit overall. He joins a Notre Dame class that is ranked No. 16 overall and features fellow offensive linemen Taylor Decker and Mark Harrell.

Notre Dame remains still hopes to land another premier offensive lineman, with eyes set on Arik Armstead and Josh Garnett.
