Basketball Game Preview: Providence School Stallions vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals

The Providence School Stallions will head out to take on the Bishop Snyder Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence School is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Providence School came up short against Rickards and fell 52-40.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ryan Gornto, who posted 12 points. Will Rydzewski was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Bishop Snyder hadn't done well against Riverside recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Bishop Snyder came out on top against Riverside by a score of 63-55.

Providence School's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Bishop Snyder, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Everything went Providence School's way against Bishop Snyder in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Providence School made off with a 66-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence School since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
