Lisbon suffers fifth straight loss on the road

Recap: Lisbon Broncos vs. Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers

The Lisbon Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Oak Grove Lutheran 69-37. Lisbon has not had much luck with Oak Grove Lutheran recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Lisbon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ella Tuhy, who scored ten points, and Brynley Differding who scored four points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tuhy has scored all season.

Lisbon dropped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

Lisbon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wahpeton at 6:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Scout Woods and Kyra Haecherl. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, they will head out on the road to challenge Central Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Dakota (Central Cass is ranked 52nd, while Oak Grove Lutheran is ranked 72nd).
