It was a Battle of the Birds when Grape Creek duked it out withWall on Friday. The Grape Creek Eagles took a blow against the Wall Hawks, falling 76-26. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1046th, while the Hawks are ranked 150th).

Grape Creek is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18. As for Wall, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
