Soccer Recap: Seaholm/Groves Triumphs

Seaholm/Groves hadn't done well against Berkley recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Maples walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bears. This was a revenge game for Seaholm/Groves: when they faced off against Berkley back in April, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for Seaholm/Groves and bumps their season record up to 2-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Berkley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaholm/Groves will square off against Notre Dame Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkley, they will challenge Royal Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Berkley are facing Royal Oak at the right time seeing as Royal Oak are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
