Red Cloud and Deshler are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Red Cloud Warriors will head out to take on the Deshler Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Red Cloud is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.1 points per game this season.

Red Cloud is headed into Thursday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Kenesaw.

Red Cloud might have lost, but man, Gage Ely was a machine: he went 11 of 21 on his way to 25 points and five boards. Ely is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Mason Bolin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Deshler over Giltner in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Deshler blew Giltner out of the water with a 65-16 final score. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Red Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Deshler, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
