Football Recap: West Babylon Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. West Babylon lost to Copiague on the road by a 31-13 margin. West Babylon was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Copiague apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

West Babylon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Copiague, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Babylon is set to square off against their familiar foe Newfield at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Copiague will challenge rival Centereach at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
