Basketball Game Preview: Crown Point Panthers vs. Bolton Central Eagles

Crown Point is 0-10 against Bolton Central since January of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Crown Point Panthers will be playing at home against the Bolton Central Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

Crown Point is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They fell 42-33 to Seton Catholic Central. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly nine points.

Meanwhile, Bolton Central had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They secured a 43-37 W over the Wildcats.

Bolton Central found their leader in freshman Ella Hens, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Hens. Jadynn Egloff was another key player, putting up eight points.

Bolton Central pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Crown Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Crown Point was taken down by Bolton Central 50-21 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Crown Point avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
