Soccer Recap: Bishop Brossart Takes a Loss

Bishop Brossart came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-1 to the Louisville Collegiate Amazons & Titans. While losing is never fun, Bishop Brossart can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Louisville Collegiate are ranked tenth).

Bishop Brossart's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Louisville Collegiate, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Brossart will square off against Villa Madonna at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Louisville Collegiate, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bethlehem at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
