Volleyball Recap: Vista Grande Takes a Loss

Vista Grande was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cienega Bobcats. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Vista Grande took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 26-24.

Cienega was led to victory by Addison Hirschberg and Cherie Addington. Hirschberg had 20 digs and one block, while Addington had ten digs and three aces.

Vista Grande's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cienega, their record is now 2-0.

Vista Grande has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Mesquite on the 4th. As for Cienega, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Rincon/University on the 4th.
