Baseball Recap: Halifax Academy Comes Up Short

Halifax Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Halifax Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riddick Bain, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Bain has hit this season.

Halifax Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Harrells Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

While Halifax Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
