The E.O. Smith/Tolland Bucks didn't have quite enough to beat the Waterford Lancers on Monday and fell 3-2. The loss put an end to the Bucks' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, E.O. Smith/Tolland fell to 2-1. As for Waterford, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, E.O. Smith/Tolland will take on Conard at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterford, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Edwin O. Smith on the 21st.
