Timber Creek Regional is 6-1 against Triton since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Timber Creek Regional will square off against Triton at 3:45 p.m.

Timber Creek Regional can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Monday. They fell just short of Highland Regional by a score of 4-3.

Timber Creek Regional saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Keehn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Keehn has posted since back in April of 2024. Another was Ryan Dobrowolski, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Triton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cumberland, sneaking past 7-5. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Timber Creek Regional was able to grind out a solid win over Triton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 7-4. Will Timber Creek Regional repeat their success, or does Triton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
