Softball Recap: Green River Wolves vs. South Bison

Green River's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the South Bison by a score of 12-9.

Haidyn Terry made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. Terry was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double.

In other batting news, Kodi Allred was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Chacee Shiner was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.

Green River's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for South, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
