Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gridley). Everything went their way against the Mira Loma Matadors on Monday as they made off with a 32-6 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Gridley's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Mira Loma, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
