Baseball Recap: Comanche Takes a Loss

Comanche suffered their closest loss since March 10th on Friday. They fell just short of the Tolar Rattlers by a score of 7-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost four in a row.

Comanche saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Salinas, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Comanche's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Tolar, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Comanche is set to square off against their familiar foe Breckenridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tolar will take on rival Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
