Baseball Game Preview: Bristow Pirates vs. Glenpool Warriors

For the second straight game, Bristow will face off against Glenpool. Bristow is taking a road trip to challenge Glenpool at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bristow is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Glenpool on Monday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 8-2.

For Glenpool's part, the team relied heavily on Peyton Surrett, who went 3-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was Surrett's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Eli Winters, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Surrett wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Glenpool kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.

Glenpool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. Bristow now has a losing record of 4-5.
