Volleyball Recap: Ontario Christian Takes a Loss

If Ontario Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Redlands Adventist Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ontario Christian Knights came up short against the Loma Linda Academy Roadrunners on Wednesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered against the Roadrunners since March 17, 2022.

Ontario Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-23.

Ontario Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Loma Linda Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario Christian will take on Montclair at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loma Linda Academy, they will face off against Aquinas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
