Soccer Recap: Overland Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Overland was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Gateway Olympians, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Overland were already down 4-0.

Overland has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Gateway, they now have a winning record of 4-3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Overland is set to face off against their familiar foe Thornton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gateway will take on rival Aurora Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
