Volleyball Game Preview: Cheney Blackhawks vs. Central Valley Bears + How To Watch

The Cheney Blackhawks will square off against the Central Valley Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Cheney came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Lewis & Clark, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lewis & Clark scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Central Valley suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Mt. Spokane.

While Central Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Mt. Spokane work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-25, 25-18.

Cheney's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
