Having just played yesterday, the Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions will jump right back in to play the Tazewell Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cornerstone Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.

Cornerstone Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Hurley 71-25 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Roop, who posted 16 points and six assists. Noah Witler was another key player, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Meanwhile, Tazewell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Chilhowie by a score of 55-53 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tazewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
