Softball Recap: Harpeth Comes Up Short

Harpeth lost against Creek Wood on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians lost 15-3 to the Red Hawks. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harpeth saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Riley, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Harpeth's record now sits at 4-10-1. As for Creek Wood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harpeth will welcome Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Creek Wood, they will host Fairview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
