Meanwhile, Roxborough came up short against Franklin Learning Center last Wednesday, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly ten runs.

Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average this season. As for Roxborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Martin Luther King's way against Roxborough when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Martin Luther King made off with a 16-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
