Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Pines Jaguars vs. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate

After both having extra time off, the Desert Pines Jaguars and the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Desert Pines didn't have quite enough to beat Western and fell 3-2. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon lost 3-0 to Sports Leadership & Management on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-13.

Desert Pines' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything went Desert Pines' way against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Desert Pines made off with a 3-0 victory.
