The St. Catherine's Angels will head out to  face off against the St. Thomas More Cavaliers  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. St. Catherine's will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
St. Catherine's picked up another tournament win  on Saturday. They came out on top against Milwaukee Arts by a score of  2-0.

 Londyn Pardo went supernova,  getting 12 assists and nine  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted  over her last 14  matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mary Westfall, who  had five  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: St. Catherine's  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 18  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in five consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas More got the win against The Prairie School  on Tuesday by a conclusive  3-0. The  win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.
 St. Thomas More never let The Prairie School on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17,  26-24.
 St. Thomas More's win came from a few key players St. Catherine's will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Sophia Lobehoefer, who  had 13  digs and one assist.  Sofia Romero also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
 St. Catherine's record is now 13-8. As for St. Thomas More, their record now sits at 14-9.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  match:  St. Catherine's has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 10.1  aces per game. However, it's not like St. Thomas More struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.9  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 St. Catherine's might still be hurting after the  3-0 defeat they got from St. Thomas More  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. Can the Angels avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
