Football Recap: Rockmart Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Rockmart had won two straight home games and Nate Davis did his part to make it three on Friday. The Yellowjackets claimed a resounding 65-10 win over the Murray County Indians thanks in part to Davis, who rushed for 180 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Another player making a difference was Tucker Parson, who threw for 259 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Rockmart's record now sits at 8-1. As for Murray County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
