Austin Heminger Game Report: @ Big Walnut

Westerville North was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Austin Heminger did his best to prevent it. Heminger turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Even though Heminger couldn't lead Westerville North over Big Walnut, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 132 places lower in Ohio), but they're not letting that get them down.
