Basketball Recap: Owego Free Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Seton Catholic Central + How To Watch

Owego Free Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Seton Catholic Central Saints on Tuesday, falling 77-41. The River Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton Catholic Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allan Eagles, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most boards Eagles has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Liam Kozel, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 12 points.

Seton Catholic Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
