Softball Recap: Paramount Comes Up Short

Paramount and Ramona squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Paramount had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 7-6. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

CLARISSA NORIEGA and Evengelina Asoau did some serious damage despite the final result: NORIEGA went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double, while Asoau went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Francheska Torres, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Paramount's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6-1. As for Ramona, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

As of now, neither Paramount nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
