Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Christian Academy Knights vs. Grove City Christian Eagles

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Fairfield Christian Academy and Grove City Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights came up short against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Grove City Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.

Micaiah Herron paced Fairfield Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Herron got some help from Candice Welsh and her nine assists. Nakayla Cash controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
