Soccer Recap: St. Edward's Comes Up Short

St. Edward managed to keep up with Melbourne Central Catholic until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Hustlers. St. Edward's were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Melbourne Central Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

St. Edward's has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, St. Edward's will be playing in front of their home fans against Sebastian River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Melbourne Central Catholic, they will square off against Space Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
