Boston Latin Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against East Boston on Thursday. The Dragons put the hurt on the Jets with a sharp 21-1 victory. That 20 run margin sets a new team best for the Dragons this season.

Lillianna Telesford was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Claire Hauck, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Aislynn Dole was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Boston Latin Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
