Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, San Marin's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against Alameda, falling 26-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

San Marin's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Redwood, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
