Baseball Recap: Lawton Takes a Loss

Lawton lost against Cache last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Lawton lost 13-3 to Cache. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly ten runs.

Lawton's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Cache, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawton will host Elgin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lawton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Elgin has averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Cache, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Pauls Valley at 5:00 p.m.
