Baseball Recap: Lutheran North Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lutheran North's offense. They came up short against the Burroughs Bombers on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Lutheran North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Burkett, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lutheran North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Burroughs, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Lutheran North will face off against Winnetonka at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Crusaders are facing the Griffins at the right time seeing as the Griffins are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Burroughs, they will challenge Ladue Horton Watkins at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
