Oakbrook Prep put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 23-2 margin over the Westgate Christian Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bryce Horton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, Oakbrook Prep got a massive performance out of Ben Potter, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Potter a new career-high in RBI (three). Davis Haas was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Oakbrook Prep's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Westgate Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Oakbrook Prep will square off against Laurens Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westgate Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oakbrook Prep at 4:00 p.m. on April 17.
