Basketball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Siuslaw Vikings.

Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Siuslaw, their victory ended an 18-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-18.

Douglas and Siuslaw's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Douglas and Coquille (who has only given up 25 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Siuslaw will challenge Sutherlin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed 29.16 points per game.
