Baseball Recap: Christian Takes a Loss

Christian has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.87 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the Coronado Islanders, falling 10-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xander Molina, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Molina also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5. As for Coronado, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

While Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
