After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beloit, Minneapolis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Republic County Buffaloes. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Minneapolis' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Republic County, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
