Baseball Recap: South Pointe Finds Home Field Redemption Against Camden

There's no place like home for South Pointe, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past the Camden Bulldogs 13-2 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Stallions, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ben Lee spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Parker Wetherbee was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Ray Steed Jr, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

South Pointe's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Camden, they moved to 7-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

South Pointe will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
