Calvary Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Faith Baptist School Falcons by a score of 41-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the LIONS also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Faith Baptist School saw an underclassman step up: freshman Nevina Jenkins went 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points. Those 11 points gave Jenkins a new career-high.

Calvary Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.7 points per game. As for Faith Baptist School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Calvary Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 62-22 victory against Aquinas Academy on the 21st. As for Faith Baptist School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holly Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 28th.
