Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia). They enjoyed a cozy 31-12 win over the La Salle Institute Cadets on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Columbia's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for La Salle Institute, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Columbia will face off against Amsterdam at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for La Salle Institute, they will take on Niskayuna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Silver Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
