Volleyball Recap: ACE Charter Comes Up Short

ACE Charter lost to KIPP Navigate College Prep back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cheetahs came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-15.

Leading KIPP Navigate College Prep to victory were Noe Sumano and James Vo. Sumano had five digs and five aces, while Vo had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Vo has posted since back in March.

ACE Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ACE Charter will square off against rival Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, KIPP Navigate College Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe University Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
