Softball Recap: Pontiac Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Pontiac rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Lexington Minutemen. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Pontiac's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Lexington, they dropped their record down to 13-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Pontiac will face off against Princeton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
