Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was the 2-1 winner over Osborne when they last played one another on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10.

Jaycee Remus paced Lakeside's offense, picking up three kills. Remus got some help from Kaylee Otte and her four assists.

Lakeside has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Osborne, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Lakeside has already played their next matchup (against St. John's/Tipton Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Osborne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sylvan-Lucas on the 27th.
